Re: NEW Radial & Hardwired Shearwater Pursuit on Meg.

Are the top and bottoms of the scrubber removable?

Can you buy just one top and bottom of put in different height scrubbers so it will fit in both the meg and the mini meg?

Or is it 2 complete scrubbers you have to buy?

The lid? You mean for the scrubber?

The bottom of the scrubber is removeable by rotating about 1/4 turn, it's held in place with 4 tabs. Once it's removed there is a spring loaded ring attached to the inside of the lid that helps in keeping the scrubber packed tight. There are no kidney shaped holes to pour the sorb through it's completely open which will make packing much easier and seeing that it's filled from the bottom the inner tube is already capped so no worries about sorb entering there.

It appears to be a solid unit, well built and like the Meg it self is heavy duty. I don't think dropping it during packing would cause any damage.

Leon said that the first 200 orders were going for $880 but the first 200 the price is going up. He's planning on having all the new stuff on display at the Beneath The Sea dive show coming up shortly so keep an eye out, I'm sure there will be more pictures of everything after the show.

Hello,

What is the capacity of the mini-meg radial?

What is the cost of retrofitting the new electronics -- I already have a Pursuite dive computer. I'd love to go that route!

No. The inner ring of the bottom twists off to fill the scrubber but the top is mounted permenently.

No. They're two seperate scrubbers.

Or is it 2 complete scrubbers you have to buy?

I believe Leon said it was going to be a 5 pound radial.

That you'll have to call ISC to find out.

Hope this helps.

tumbler is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: NEW Radial & Hardwired Shearwater Pursuit on Meg.

I'm constantly amused at how much bubble wrap I see coming out of ISC. I almost never see a photo from the hatchery without bubble wrap, and when I was there, the stuff was everywhere!

All that aside, the new scrubbers look pretty darn sweet! As soon as my bank account recovers from my new Salvo light, I'll have to get one on order.

Hey, how much did that cost? does it fit a standard meg can? if yes, does it need to remove the watertrap?

Thanks.
