meg gauges Hi If your not using the gauges that Leon supplies with the unit, which i understand are longer than the standard size hose, does anyone know if there are any standard size gauges that will be long enought to run up over the shoulders and down the lungs. Cheers Andyg

Cheers Andyg You should be able to order any length hoses you'd like for your unit from your local dive store, assuming that the standard length ones they carry are not what your looking for. Cheers Seb

Hi Andy Julie wished to run her gauges down the inside of he C\L's the cheapest way i found to do it with out going and having a custom hose made was to order stock hoses out of AP,( they have some uses) that are o2 clean as standard. and come in at an incredibally long 40 inches. give brett a pm at divelife, he can sort you out. and he is in your part of the world.

The length of the hp gauge hose is dependant on the divers size and rig, so there is no one hose that will suit all divers. I route my hoses up behind the back plate and over the shoulder so the pressure gauge sits at about mid chest - nipple - which allows me to view the contents. This is a very common technique that ISC employs, and several Meg divers use this same configuration. I have students who have difficulty seeing the pressure gauge at mid chest and require it further down the chest. One can only guesstimate until you are fully rigged in the water. To Leon's credit the rebreather is not pure stock delivery, which raises questions that are not stock replies...they depend on the divers configuration. Good news is that hp hoses are not very expensive and it is good to have spares around.
