Scrubber size

What size of scrubber would be best to own? The 5.5 lb comes with the standard package but is it work upgrading to the 7 lb. on the inital order? Adnvantages / Disadvantages.

5.5 LB Axial - 3 Hours

7 LB Radial - 6 Hours

When i talked to steve, i am pretty sure that is his name, i got the impression that those are in the works and not yet for sale.

So the one everyone basically use is the 5.5 lb. axial scrubber?

I have the radial one on order, but was told 3-6 months out (around the 1st of Sept.). The 5.5lbs axial works and I could get it right away. Plus why not have both

diving on a meg in the UK, you get between 4 and 4.5 hours on a 5.5 axial scrubber, in the lovely british CHILLY water...

Leon's reccomendation for standard scrubber duration is 3hours in cold water with no repetitive deep dives and circa 4 hours in warm carribean water - more details will be up when I finish his new web site this week.

Leon is now showing protypes of new scrubbers plus word on the street is that the PRISM scrubber will also be an option you can buy from Leon, which is nice if you dont want hydrophobic.

So take your pick of...

1 - Axial
2 - CIS Type Radial
3 - Prism Radial
4 - Extendair....

All in the same can

mmmm, nice!
As i dont see me getting a cis scrubber any time soon, last i heard they sold for about 2500USD, so perhaps a prism scrubber will be ok in order to get more time.
