The only disadvantage is a slight compromise to the "right is rich" rule. How do you get privilages on the forum? Lance

| Closed Circuit Divers Aus Current Rebreather/s: | Re: O2 Manual Add Options I dived today with the O2 add connected to the exhale CL and the VR3 followed the Meg cell readings without it's usual heart attacks and elevated readings. I didn't have any trouble going to the wrong side to add O2 but one thing I noticed was that if you were to manual add O2 with the ADV active you could get an accidental addition of dil also. I had mine isolated as I was diving with the Drager FFM and add/vent the loop through the mask. All up a very pleasing result and a very worth while change. Lance

I have heard from a few sources that it was decided it was a better option to have the O2 manually injected into the inhale CL as it was the closest point before the DSV. So in the event you needed O2 in a hurry as in a hypoxic loop you would get it sooner than any other point in the loop (within reason)John I have ditched the 4th cell for the VR3 as it is just too unreliable and have put the O2 manual add supply back on the inhale CL......
