New Meg diver

I finished my CCR course today with Jill Heinerth. It was a week of challenges, moreover since the unit was acting up. Some technical issues, pin holes in lungs, bust o-ring in bailout reg, suit flood, forgotten under garment, etc, etc. With all these real life challenges and drills we did, I feel I got a full load of experience to build upon.

A big thank you to Bruce Partridge of Shearwater who took the time to discuss things and send me a replacement part overnight so I could finish the course.

Did you already have your Meg ordered when I saw you in November? Also, were you thinking of picking up one of Jakub's radial scrubbers?

I'm very new, too, but welcome to the fold! It took me about 10 hours underwater after the class to start feeling good with my new kit, and I hope I never start feeling like a real pro.....but I'm not planning on diving OC again any time soon! CCR rawks!
