Here are a couple of photos of what I meant. I assembled the portion of the rig in question and snapped these. You can see that all three hoses can be routed up without the need for swivels .

Lance,

Can you spec which hose is going to what off your gas block based on your picture above? Thanks.

Eric
Hi Eric,

The pic is orientated the same as it would be if it were attached to the Meg looking from the front.

The hoses to the right of the SPG are:
1/ Wing Inflation Hose.
2/ ADV
3/ BOV
4/ OB Gas Supply to Manifold

I have changed mine around a little since fitting the Drager FFM and it was real easy. I removed one of the plugs in the end of the manifold and ran the hose which used to go to the BOV around behind my neck to the Apeks second stage bail-out reg. I have the ADV hose where the wing inflation hose used to be in port 1 . The 2nd port is now blanked. 3rd port feeds the Wing Inflation, now on the outside of the CL tee and the 4th port remains as before and is the off-board gas inlet hose.

Let me know if you'd like a pic.

I am also in the process of putting together a set of assembly instructions to help setting them up.

Lance

Re: Shadow gear/M&J swivels

Lance,

Thanks for the clarification. I am getting ready to purchase a Draeger FFM after the 1st of the year. Could you send a pic of it all kitted up?

Thanks,

Eric

My setup is the same as Gabe's and it works fine. Just gotta' make sure your reg is straight (horizontal) before you mount the O2 tank and it'll slide in easily.

Hi Eric,

Here are the pics you asked for. These are with the Drager FFM and you can clearly see the LP hose from the manifold to the FFM second stage reg.

Makes it all nice and neat and works very well.

Let me know if you need any more info.

Regards,

Lance

Re: Shadow gear/M&J swivels

Lance,

Thanks for the pics. I should be ordering my Draeger sometime in January. It's nice to see a setup prior to my 'playtime'.
