Just made it to Tanzania, actually sitting in Zanzibar right now ... with my Meg.

Soft suit roller carry on size for main tube, cannister, spare parts, head, all hoses and regulators for Meg, counterlungs, two primary light heads, 2 bottom timers, 1 mix gas computer, 1 tetra housing for digital camera.

One of my check in had loop, ss slim backplate, tiger gear, one 19 cft alm tank, venture wing

Other check in bag had had all my other dive gear as well as the second 19 cft alm tank.

No problems whatsoever ... nice sailing ... but I was packing on the scale for my check in since airlines changed to 2 piece 50 lbs ... not 70 lbs anymore ....

Carry on was overweight but never in my live was checked on weight of carry on..

Greetings from Zanzibar
Matt
I hope you brought more than one bathing suit!!! Sounds like you have no room for any clothes!!! Have a great time!!!

Would be nice to know the empty weight of this case. Even the UK web site doesn't include that info. Not sure why.....

Re: Meg travel

Obviously not me.... I'd say it was taken by someone who could do better with a 2nd flash. Trade you some shuttle launch pics for it....

And stop hijacking someone else's thread.
