| Inspiration Vision Diver ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | My first dive with Meg Big thanks to JonnyB, I did my first Meg dive today, when I tried his unit. We did a small 45min dive, only to 16 meters and I really liked it. I've being looking for a Meg for some time and now looking to change. Let's see what we can come up with Rasmus, but perhaps I'll be a Meg diver about one week from now. ![]()

Mine has done 2 round the globe journeys in the 2 yrs I've had her and has sustained much abuse and damage, and keeps on working. Just last week, a careless handler in Manila airport dropped Meg from about 2m onto a hard concrete floor, resulting in breaking the bracket that reinforces the solenoid input on the top front of the head. Needles to say, I was a little upset , expecting my dive holiday ruined.Got to my location, connected the O2 and checked for a leak, and proper solenoid operation, and you guessed it, it kept on ticking. During same holiday, boat boys carrying her (Meg) from RIB onto Liveaboard on rough sea. Someone slipped and wham on the iron floor, with one of the boys falling on top of Meg to boot. . Busted a head clamp, and pinched an LP hose. Still ticking and holding pressure. She will now be sent to ISC for an upgrade and repairs, but not after another 30rs or so remaining this year for me. |
