Leon had that composite scrubber at the Dive 2007, looks pretty good and oughta solve the weight issue.
No info on production, though.
The plastic can weighs 6lbs less than the aluminum. It's not a whopping change but it *is* something. One plus is that the temp has been found to be a good bit warmer with less condensation as a byproduct. New cans will be available "Soon".

Info came from one of the horses.

After crawling through some small holes in a wreck last week, it has reknewed my interest for BMCL for my Meg. What options are out there that still have a working ADV.

I would prefer something along the DaveT lungs that I have seen DrMike(and Phi??) with or some other design without a hard case but am open to options...

I think simply turning around the lungs doesn't seem viable for manual addition of gases or the ADV but correct me if I am wrong...

Cheers
Hey John
Is this the sort of thing you are chasing ?
Scott had a good start to this project, though I am not sure how much further it got from posing in his living room

Can the Meg CL liners be removed? Does this require a specialized tool?

I have never seen a Meg lung that is lined. Sure, all 3 types have a boned liner as a part of the manufacturing process (material not ISC) butI haven't neen a seperate liner. Mike would know though

Sorry, i can't provide the pics I promised. They weren't on the backup drive that survived my break in.

No worries on the pictures, sorry about the break-in

sorry I assumed they had liners. Not having owned a meg (or any interest in owning one) I just made the assumption they did. F_ck me I got one thing wrong - nobody is perfect

Any more information you could share with us?, is it a bolt-on kit you are going to sell in your shop, when will it be available? etc.
