![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: BMCL for a Meg higher wob shorter scrubber life and dangerous sensor location [running away to hide I have owned, dived and like both of the CK and Meg. ]And I am not sure emperically I agree that the WOB on the Meg is worse than the CK (independent of the tests done by Kevin Gurr). Scrubber life wise, there is the radial scrubber option on the Meg which isn't on a lot of other units. And having owned the Golem radial scrubber, it is a really nice piece of kit. I wish Jakub would make one for the Vision... However, I agree that I don't like the way the sensors are placed but not a big deal if the pre-dive tests are done to check. Plus, my mod to eliminate that issue should be done soon. Right Brent ? ![]() However, both equally suck relatively when it comes to travel (i.e. Meg = heavy, CK = CL case is bulky)... ![]() |

| Póg mo thóin Current Rebreather/s: | Re: BMCL for a Meg Mike, It's nice to see your love for the Meg is still alive and strong You forgot to mention the Meg electronics that keep a very stable set point I agree with Phi the WOB is a hell of a lot better on the Meg than the Kiss to answer Rich's question I bought the Meg because it is very customisable i.e. different scrubbers available, you can plumb in off board gas without having to make any mods. The ability to recover from a flood, the build quality is second to none. I bought the Copis Meg but I have also bought the new Shearwater Pursuit controller and Hud from Bruce which is being fitted at the moment. I had to buy another battery box and solenoid but I am also keeping the Copis handset. But I hate the OTS counter lungs but that was a compromise I was prepared to make but hopefully someone will make some back mounted lungs for it soon.
