Re: Easy Meg Calibration Revisited

I have one of these (and the older version too), they are definitely:
  • the dog's nuts
  • the bee's knees
  • the fish's balls
  • the bird's beak
  • the elephant's trunk
  • ... or however else you Brits are calling something really good...
Plus, having played with his home-made Meg radial scrubber, it is as good as any commercially produced version as well.

The man is awesome in my book!

Re: Easy Meg Calibration Revisited

Ken,

Nice job on the calibration plugs. I'm in need, so I'm going to give it a try. I'm looking for a source on the flow orfices now.

Thanks,

Eric

Please post here where you find them. If you have to buy in bulk, I'll take a few from you.

As always, top notch Ken.

I'm finding .004 orifices with barbs for 1/16 and 1/8" tubing, but not .17 which is @ 1/6". Still looking.

You want the 1/8" barb. The part number called out in the original article is for that size. Yea, 1/8 and .17 don't match, but it all seems to work anyway. What works, works.

OK. Sweet. For those interested, these might do the trick then. I'll call them tomorrow and find out what the minimum order is. Ends up I used to live down the street from these guys in Racine, WI.

Works out that their FL distributor is right here in Sunrise by me. I'll set up an account and place an order when I get the details tomorrow morning.
