Re: Does anyone do a Meg trimix manual?

If I reported the post, it was mearly an accident. Rebreather World can give you your green back for all I care. I don't recall ever reporting any post as negative on RBW for that matter.

You are the one that threw the stone. I guess you expect to be able to call me a twat and not get a response. There you are wrong, Mike. You deal with it. Boy, you have got to be the biggest ahole around. And I don't speak for anyone but myself. Your attitude in many a thread on this board sucks, you know it, I know it, and I'm sure most of the board knows it. Get over yourself. Maybe where you come from, calling people twats is funny, but here in America, unless we are buds having a beer, it will get your as s kicked.

Now, show up to DEMA, and I'll buy you a beer. But leave the sh!t at home, so we can leave all this BS in the past.

Wow! This thread started out as a search for the Meg Trimix manual and it has almost turned into a bar room brawl! Someone should just close it to further postings.

This bar doesn't close just because because of a brawl! We don't even need to call the sheriff. There's water in the well if the combatants need hosing down, and do mind the glass on the floor.

The upshot is that there's a good ANDI manual out and a fantastic ISC manual being showcased at DEMA. These are for air dil courses. If anyone has recommendations on manuals discussing strategies for trimix rebreather dives, whether Meg or more general, I would be very interested

Has anybody had a look at these yet?

DIRrebreather - DIR diving philosophy for CCR and SCR Rebreather divers

The author used to be an active Rebreather World contributor, but not so much anymore . Probably due to all the shite that has been thrown about.

Just a quick clarification, the ISC meg manual will be for MOD 1 and as such is a air dil manual. the DVD is a skills dvd that can be used for MOD 1, 2 and 3, it is the basic meg skills. Both will be on show at DEMA. but i will be honest here, Leon has a bunch of edits for me to add to the manual. So once i have those, then i will input them and the official first release will be availabe. the current DVD is a good start to helping students and instructors. i do intend on completely re-doing the whole thing in the open water (as it is currently done in the pool). I am also working on a Generic CCR Trimix manual. this will be available at dema, if you are interested contact curt (silentscuba). hope this clears up some of the confusion here.

Didn't you know that Mel Clark was a ISC Instructor Trainer? And also a TDI Instructor Trainer. She is a very talented lady.
