![]() ![]() ![]() | 10watt 7ohm resistor - Meg Batteries I am making some Meg battery packs out of C-Cell LION batteries. The Meg BG faq states that we can cycle the LION batteries to burn off some of the internal oxidation. It suggests using a 10watt 7ohm resistor. The problem is that Radio Shack only carries a 10watt 10ohm resistor and I am having trouble finding a 10watt 7ohm on line. I did find a source for 10 watt 7.8ohm resistors online. Can I substitute either of those for the recommended? How would I have to modify the instructions to take into account the higher impedance? Thanks in advance. Hans
