Hi Dave, they look like MK25s to me but I cant be sure from the photos. AFAIK they are only rathed to 40 percnt, but may have been O2 cleaned. You can buy the MK25 100 percent clean though:

S555 / MK25 Nitrox M26

New Nitrox Compatible Regulator System with M26x2 232 Bar Nitrox DIN connection in accordance with EN144.3
Nitrox clean system, up to 100% Oxygen.
Second Stage S555 Nitrox
  • Technopolymer body and components
  • Peak Performance Air Balancing System
  • Air Balanced Linear Flow Valve
  • Diver Adjustable VIVA
First Stage MK25 NITROX M26
  • Balanced High performance First stage
  • Air Balanced Flow Through Piston Design
  • Patented finned cap for anti-freeze measure
  • Externally Adjustable Intermediate Pressure
  • 5port LP swivel and Dual HP ports
  • EN144.3 M26x2 232 Bar DIN connection

I use MK25s on my BOB and stages. If they are new, they are probably onley rated up to 40%. It won't take much to get them cleaned and O2 ready. The low pressure ports are on a swivel. You can tuck your hoses away real nice.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I'm going to send them off for a service and a clean while I'm at it, so hopefully the dive store will be able to sort out something appropriate so they don't immediately go bang on me

Ah, a nice idea. Pity about the M26 nonsense, may it die a quick and painful death

Re: meg hose routing

Hi chaps. As far as I know those are MK25's but the picture was to illustrate the hose lengths rather than the 1st stages. The unit I bought came with DS4 1st stages. At the same time as I standardised the rig I replaced both of these. The one fitted to the O2 cylinder is O2 clean version for mixes over 40%, so thanks for the concern but no need
