New BC Meg diver

After a long wait or at least what seem like months. I picked up my Meg in Nanaimo yesterday. After doing the MOD 1 in May with Ron Micjan and Dave Tomblin with a borrowed Meg (Thanks Aaron) I decided that rebreather diving was exactly what I was looking for. Now I'm more ready than ever for those long dives, God knows I need more time to get my CCR buoyancy square away .

Cheers

Al

Re: New BC Meg diver

congrats! look us up if you want to dive down here. I occasionally get up to the victoria area for diving race rocks and 10 mile pt. be patient, the buoyancy just takes time.

About 30 hours in you might actually have some sort of buoyancy control. Welcome to the gang and if you're ever down under ...

There must be a Meg club up there in BC
Congrats Al. Hope it'll serve you well. I'm still little over two months away from my training, I'm getting really restless here

Al,

I'll be on the coast September long weekend. Diving during sunday and monday then staff training for the rest of the week. More than likely shore diving. If your interested we can buddy up.

Re: New BC Meg diver

Talked with ron the other day and he ask if I'll be up beginning of October, we are running a meg course then. I may swing by if I can, so if I don't catch you in Sept, maybe Oct.

Lorne
