| Jonny The Hatch ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Is this a problem? Its just shrink tube guys, no cause for concern. The cable is serious mil-spec heavy duty, cost about $16/foot. the seal is made with the swage inside the SS fitting and all the shrink tube does is form the cable in the desired direction. You cannot replace the HS tubing w/o disassembling, desoldering, and otherwise trashing the handset(or headwiring) so if y'all want to tape it up, fine, but it isnt going to cause a problem to leave it be. Only if you can see copper, through the cable, is there going to be any problem. Thanks for the information Ron, i appreciate it./Jonny
