![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 4th Cell Update Hi, Just a quick update on the 4th cell holder Andy Taylor has designed and made for the meg ( see previous threads) We have been testing it rigorously over the past few weeks in water temps ranging from 7deg c - 18 deg c and at depths from 18 mtrs- 65mtrs all tests look good with the sensor reading no more than 0.1 difference to the other 3 sensors , we have noticed that even after a 2.5 hour dive in 12 deg water there has not been anymore moisture than you expect , flying manual or auto it seems to be faultless. The sensor we are using is the k1d the only difference to the r22 is the response time is 1-2 seconds slower and it fits in the water trap very nice. Andy has emailed Leon some specifications and pics and he likes it so is sending him one to try out. At the moment he has made about 10 of them (we have 5 on test) so will soon be selling them if anybody wants one, they wont be very expensive, all you will need to purchase is the cell and the cable (narked@90 do the cables to any length). Andy will soon update some pics and details of how to buy it. Regards, Jeff
