Manifold and Breathing hose Qs

Hi Guys,
I'm curious about a few things about the Meg:
1- Source for a manifold as a few of you are using (Tim, Rohan)?
2- To my knowledge, the original breathing hoses are clamped so it's a direct swap with the Golem clamped BOV but it is not the case with the threaded Golem BOV (takes 40mm ID hose) and it looks like the T-pieces are of a different (smaller ?) diameter.
So anyone would know what hoses can be used there (clamped on the threaded Golem BOV and clamped to the T-pieces) instead of the original but keeping the same length? I hope my request is clear.
3- As long as I'm asking Qs, Anyone has pics with X-brackets fitted onto the can?
Best
Philippe

Re: Manifold and Breathing hose Qs

Philippe,

The manifold on my unit is custom, and they are available for order from Mad Dog Expeditions (maddogexpeditions.com).

Good Luck,

Shawn

Re: Manifold and Breathing hose Qs

Philippe,

Some bits of misc info that might (or not) be handy...

I use the old KISS manifold on my diluent side.
I use the Ray hose with the thread Golem BOV.
I use the Meg hose with the clamp Golem BOV.

with the Meg T-piece at the other end? On a BMCLs rig I guess as you dive only that? But the Ray hose would be too long for a OTSCLs rig I'm guessing.

I will take one later...

I was going to disassemble the Meg loop and make up a BMCL with its T-pieces, but found out that I would need a 700-dollar tool to tighten it to the CL...

I dive all of the units I have with the same BMCL, and everything else, so really convenient to set-up when just having to chose which scrubber to use.

And you just need to trim the Ray hose to length if you want a little less, but full length isn't bad as it is a very flexible hose thus not getting in the way.
