4th Cell Adapter for Meg-VR3

I would like to know your thoughts and recommendations on what 4th cell adapters are available to couple a VR3 to a meg and where to get them etc.
Thanks,
Lance

Re: 4th Cell Adapter for Meg-VR3

Dennis Vessey has one, where he uses two exhale counterlungs. And on the inhalation side he will use the ADV port as the connector for the 4th cell interface.
There is also another person here on Rebreather World that, look in the article section, that made a hole in the counterlung and added a p-port for the 4th cell.

I like the sollution that Dennis has made, though there is one BIG problem with it for me. That is that I dive my unit manually and then the 4th cell will spike every time i add O2 so i rather not have it connected.

I just ordered the lung from ISC for freind of mine, what a run-around. The lung from ISC, code and cable from delta P sent to Japan, cable then forwarded to ISC to be fitted to lung and back to japan. I bloody well hope it works better than the ones I have used with the classic inspiration.

The factory had five lungs ready to go at around 466 usd, cable and code is extra. Im looking forward to his feedback.

Im sure he will post a report soon.

JonORunde is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: 4th Cell Adapter for Meg-VR3

I ordered my COPIS with the new lung, and VR3-kit.

It is just a standard "out"-lung, with plugged opv and a "normal" ADV.
"Normal," because the adv now fits a tiny O2-cell, and cable out instead of dil in...

So, if I only get the cable and the cell, I will surely test it, take some pictures and tell you guys all about it

Re: 4th Cell Adapter for Meg-VR3

Thanks for the replies.
I see there is a "Tee" piece available for the Inspo/Evo and thought there may have been a similar unit available for the Meg.....It seems not.
I would sumise to say that the O2 sensor in the lung would be a better option as the O2 (after injection) would have been better mixed with the gas thus giving a more accurate reading.
I will be keen to see your pics and get a "Flight Test" on it after you've had time to test it.
Thanks again,
Lance
