4th Cell for a Meg

A friend of mine is looking to attaching his VR3 to his new meg; does anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking of adding a t-section to his hosing between the scrubber head and the counterlung tee. Then running the cable down to his left wrist. Has anyone done this?

I thought that I saw this done on an mk15
(Stefan you reading this mate? ).

Other suggestions and ideas are all welcome. I noticed that the VR3 has an accessory BUT it is for the inspiration.

Thanks ahead of time.

Regards, Andrew

Hi ducky,

I've seen a couple of MK15s with T-pieces, from Cochran's old Lifeguard hookup to beautifully machined brass.

With the Shearwater Meg you can use the port for the APECS' secondary like Stuart did.

Another option is a Dräger P-port into the inhalation lung.

Leon also has another option I should see a proptype when I am out there. Basically it is to use an exhale counter lung on the inhale side and then use the ADV body to house the 4th cell and cable instead of it being an ADV.

I should be getting the first one soon to evaluate, it was my idea to use the ADV port in the lung, I'll keep you all informed
