New Meg Stand And Kiss Stands

Hello all, as some of you know i have been reworking the kiss and meg stands and they are just about ready.
just a few final tweaks and then on to the finishers.
i asked a wile back if people had any problems with the older stands and the thing that bothered people the most was the handle was a little sharp when picking up the unit,
so i have redesigned the handle system so now it is much thicker and rounded and profiled and is also removable
the handles can be fitted with out the stands and the stands can be fitted with out the handles if you so wish, the handles can also be retro fitted to older stands if you want to upgrade your existing stands
i have made the base lighter but adding extra mounting holes and some graphic cutouts for bungees and rings etc.
both the stands are interchangeable all that is required is the handle reversing and if your changing to an evolution all you need is a different handle and mounting plate but the main stand is the same.
most of the first batch has had names put on them already but as soon as the first batch is low i will get started on the next batch.

sorry this stand doesn't fit the sport and at this point i dont know if i'll be making any more for the sport kiss(there is one left if ant one wants it) i may see if i can get my hands on a sport kiss and see if the handle fits then poeple can simply cut off the old handle and bolt on the new one

does it fit on any backplate? i have a zeagle bp. do you think it would fit? what is the price on that?

it should fit any back plate, but im not familiar with the zeagle...whats differant about it?
i havent set the price yet as im still waiting for prices to come in from some of the companys helping with it.

haven't really had any other BP to know the differences. i hope someone else can jump into this. it seems to be a good thing to add onto the unit. i guess it protects the wires not to be hit by something in case you hit something. can you take a photo of it, while its set up on the unit so i can see how it attaches on that bp?

i just had a stand being made in a local metal shop for my kiss. stainless steel. cost me 40 us. i will post some pics of it later.

John- Could you post a picture of how the new handle attaches to the stand and how would you adapt the new handle to an old stand.

hi Curt im not at the office at the moment but i'lkl take a picture when i get back
basicly if you want to fit the new handle to cut off the old one 20mm below the handle slip over the new one and drill though it hols and put in 2 bolts, it takes all of 5 mins!

here you go curt the handle is slotted where and it fits over the spine of the stand
