| Ladies bring a plate ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Scrubber Cleaning The section of my scrubber between the mesh and the outlet port is a little dirty with sorb dust. I have tried to remove the screen but to no avail. Any tips on how to get it apart (I have tried soaking it in soapy water)? Thanks in advance Steve

| Despotic Overlord ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Mine moves by accident if I tap around the sides and bang the top with nothing in there I then have to push it back to the resting position by hand. Maybe a bit of lube around the sides to help it when you get it going and then something pushed via the centre like the end of a paint brush handle to get it going? Stuart |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I second what Stuart said. Mine is a bit snug & I find that with firm and even pressure against the suppurt grid on the screen I can work the part loose. My instructor suggested putting a bit of christolube around the edge when i reassemble it, which I do every 3rd or 4th fill. It makes removal/replacement much easier. T |

| Ladies bring a plate ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | There isn't a hint or a sign of movement in mine. Even with force that I'm guessing is approaching breaking point. It is stuck.

![]() | Mine was quite firmly set in place. I unscrewed the four screws that attaches the black connector to the scrubber. Then I applied a quick push to the black connector and it came free. |

Why not try heading out and diving your unit instead of polishing it!! It's not like those internal bits get the girls excited and any of your dive buddies won't see that you are getting slack on the housekeeping! Cheers ![]()
