![]() | Re: meg colour Adding on, for my first post. I just got off the phone with Jerry at ISC. They no longer offer the silver. He said when the protective thickness was done correctly the color became more of a dull gray that no one liked, so they dropped it. It's black and OD only. However he did say that you can take them and have them re-anodized in the color of your choice, as some have obviously done. He also said that they'd consider shipping a unit bare so that it didn't need to be stripped before re-anodizing. My question to Jerry centered on any difference in durability between black and OD. Jerry asserted that there is no difference in durability and that no matter what color you get, it'll end up scratched when cave diving, which was my concern. best, Paul |
