Question Dissasembling oxygen inflator

As my oxygen & 2nd dil inflators are becoming a bit sticky, I'd like to dissasmble, clean etc...
Before I wreck the whole thing apart, I though I should first ask for some advice.

Any hints on how to proceed?

Re: Dissasembling oxygen inflator

my best advice is to take the nipple off (the metal bit that attaches to the LP hose) then use a syringe (without needle) and put some cristo lube in the valve. now put the nipple back on carefully (do not over tighten) and push the inflate button a bunch of time with gas attached. problem solved.
hope this helps

unscrew from lung.. then remove the yellow ISC sticker and then use hex keys to pull appart you will need 2.5mm and 4mm.

stretching the spring can help it be slightly more forceful.. oh yes and make sure you get the spring the right way around when you put it back together or you will be very disappointed with your efforts

I cannot understand why they put a fancy yellow sticker somewhere that it would need to be removed..
