Two things I had questions about: 1) What are the velcro tabs for on the back of the cover? 2) What is the velcro ring for around the secondary display? Just the first of many many questions I'm sure ![]() tia rob infante

Just the first of many many questions I'm sure ![]() tia rob infante 1) no idea...probably so that you can stick it to the ceiling. 2) There used to be a velcro cover that would stick down onto the face to protect it. Oh...and that big rubber diaphragm thingy under the center section...you don't need it...just send it to me. Same thing with those funny looking "balls". Aloha, Charlie

Just the first of many many questions I'm sure ![]() tia rob infante (1): To hold the SECOND SET OF BREATHING HOSES to allow buddy breathing. There's a T fitting that fits the center section ports that allows a second loop hose set to be attached so a combat team can buddy-share one rig in event of a failure. Drop by one day and I'll show you the setup. The hoses lay down on the back of the rig and the velcro loops keep it from floating up. Buddy-breathing position is the ever-popular "doggie style" one. (2): For the cover that protects the secondary for transit and storage, etc. You should bring your rig and a few hours and I'll give you the grand tour, since by my count you're a half hour away. There are engineering things in the system that will blow your mind, but I need to show them to you or you'll never find or understand them. Plus bring that scrubber and I'll have a check here for ya... Dave . Last edited by Dave Sutton : 23rd June 2008 at 20:00. |

Last week the Mk15 arrived in care of the new owner of my sport kiss, so it was 4 for only an hour or so. I'm still diving the Hammermeg, in two weeks I'll be on the sidemount prism, plus the Mk15. Ain't these things fun? Quote: You should bring your rig and a few hours and I'll give you the grand tour, since by my count you're a half hour away. I'm around most weeknights if you're in NJ.

The Spec War guys would cover them up so they were completely dark. Same thing with the Primary - you'll find that many of them have some extra velcro, which can cover the "O" lamp on the set. These considerations are still in effect with the Mod 2 and Mod 3 electronics, but if I told you how we dealt with them, I'd have to make you kill Dave Sutton to prove your loyalty to the USA... ![]() Kevin. |

Still spending too much of my time in Japan (or recovering from travel to and fro) though. drop that note when you get a chance...t |
