Hi Steve,So have you taken it for a dive and told Col to make more so I and the rest of the boy can get them. You lucky yours has a different plug to mind otherwise it would been on my unit 4 weeks ago when I pickup my unit from col's.

I got a picture of your HUD on my pc, so if you not nice I show them anyway. . Does your secondly let you choose between 5 leds or green/red 2 leds system.

OK here it is!!

Note that this is the proto type - we have made a few 'small' mods and Col is looking to get the first production ones out in a few weeks so dont call him just yet.

It is direct plug and play with the 'old' one

The mounting brackets are currently set up so it can be either left or right. Personally I like it on the left as this is the side I am used to and it is also the same side as the on/off switch - simple to remember (for me anyway)

The lights (LED's) are the SAME colours as the originals.

Both ends are fully potted.

Looks great, Steve, thanks for posting the pictures.

Only know the SMI electronics, so bear with me.

What does the left one signal, and how?

Then, left to right:
red = low pO2 (-0.2 ata or lower)
amber = low pO2 (-0.1 ata)
green = on setpoint
amber = high pO2 (+0.1 ata)
red = high pO2 (+0.2 ata or more)

Is the green solid or pulsating/blinking?
What about the other colors?

In addition, if same as original MK-15 primary then the left most one is the alarm LED.

It has been a long time, so I could be remembering it wrong.

The Alarm LED is lit up in combination with any of the other low/high LED. Otherwise, there is only 1 LED (on SP) on.

Again, it has been a long time since I last dived the MK-15.

Direct from the manual

A wrist mounted ( left hand side) display bar with six illuminated sequential segments which alert the diver to the system status during operation.

From left to right the sequence is:

• "A" for alarm condition (red) activated when either;
  1. Sensor is out of range
  2. PP02 average deviates beyond two tenths of a bar either side of the setpoint,
  3. Low battery life
  4. Electronics failure
• "L" for when the PP02 level falls below two tenths of the setpoint (red)
• "1" for when the PP02 level falls between one tenth and two tenths below the setpoint (amber)
• "0" for normal operating range within the setpint (green)
• "1" for when the PP02 level increases one to two tenths above the setpoint (amber)
• "H" for when the PP02 level increases to over two tenths of the setpoint (red)

there you have it direct from the manual.

None of the lights flash - steady in all operating modes. so a look at the secondary from time to time is prudent.
