But I'm keeping the spheres in, the fibre thing was just out of interest.

Geeze, and all this time I thought it was just me...

what Im trying to figure out is this:

Is mike just obnoxious when he is drinking....and only posts on Rebreather World while drinking....OR
is mike just obnoxious all the time, but especially when he is on Rebreather World, or anyone else even near his skill level is present or posting contrary to his obviously superior wisdom?

contemplate this over a drink mike and get back to us...inquiring minds want to know.

Um, no, I have absolutely no idea who he is which is why I was trying to pry the 'big' secret out of Phi. why/how did you draw that conclusion?
My answer "that would be a no then" was directed at Phi as in "Phis answer is No I wont give the guys contact address'

um no I asked a simple question

and simply clarified the answer I got from Phi was 'No'

So what do I get for the fact you cant read or understand simple English?

Last year, I approached a friend to do me a favor by finding some spheres for Carl @ Sartek since he bought a bunch of MK-15 units. Carl done lots of favors for me in the past and I wanted to return them. However, Carl found some in the US, IIRC. So it was dropped...

So I immediately thought about that when seeing people looking for them again...

However, I wasn't sure if my friend is still interested as it was a waste of time last year. And, of course, I didn't want a bunch of strangers bother him if he isn't interested - thus the reason I wanted to contact and ask him first. And I just got the reply that he is interested...

I have always thought that we were friends. Over the last few years, everytime I had a stop-over in Singapore during my travel, I always tried to look you up for a get-together, a few beers, some laughs over "chicken" and swap diving stories. I also tried to help you out when you were looking for the BMCL for your BOB, to build your radial scrubber, etc. Normal things that friends do...

Just because I had a different view (so were others) of what you had posted about the Rebreather fatality right after Sven's incident, it doesn't mean that I stop considering you as a friend. I never minded when my friends disagreed with me, and do appreciate when they tell me I am being insensitive or offensive.

But you sent me a nasty PM, then start to pick on different threads...
You know what ? I have had enough.

If you don't want to be friends anymore, that's your personal choice. If you want to be treated the same, it can be done. I continued to hold my tongue out of respect of our friendship and tried to be civil hoping that it was just a phase, but I think I am being disappointed.
