![]() ![]() | OK to use Buddy Clean on the 15.5 counter lung? Hi Just wanting to know what the best thing to use on the counter lung is. Dont want to use anything that might degrade the rubber. I have some Buddy Clean which would be easy to use, just wanting to check really. Thanks Hugh |

Thanks Hugh No problem using Buddy Clean Virkon is heaps cheaper and heaps more effective (do search here for suppliers) Tested by Canadian Navy IIRC and their finding was basically Buddy Clean = crap, Virkon = best (but I may be talking b_llocks as it was a while back) Should be a thread here or on YD someplace

![]() ![]() | Re: OK to use Buddy Clean on the 15.5 counter lung? Hugh Buddy Clean is fine. It is only diluted trigine and will not degrade the bags. When I worked with them in the 80's we used Iodene and that just dyed them. They seem reanonably impervious to mild cleaning and disinfection products. Dave
