Braided hoses and adapters? Ditch them. Go for the rubber hoses. Plenty of sources on both sides of the Atlantic. Plenty of info in the archives, both here and on the Yahoo Kiss group. cheers ray ![]() Best Philippe |

| Re: just got ck #229 If it doesn't seem right try a different LP port and/or remove the taper thread elbow joint where if screws into the adaptor to the LP port, and re-seal it with a different amount of PTFE tape so it ends up at a slightly different angle. Mine sits nicely now and the O2 hose runs between the scrubber and the O2 cylinder and comes over my right shoulder. Personally I like the overspecified and wear-resistant stainless braided hoses (especially when they rub against the edge of the counterlung case). | Re: just got ck #229 One of the first things I did was to replace all of the stainless hoses with plain LP hose - better and more flexible hose routing, also perhaps less likely to interfere with the counterlungs, and it comes in nice colours! Most recent thing I've done is replace the manifold with one that has all 3/8" UNF ports - no more strange swagelok fittings! (And I was unpleasantly surprised by the amount of rust inside the old manifold ) |

| Re: just got ck #229 A friend of a friend made them for me - basically a simple copy of the original manifold but with all ports 3/8" UNF. ![]() I'll ask him if he's planning to do any more. Robert |
