| I agree with Phi on this one, in the words of DT it is more of a perceived problem than a real problem. It would be great to have a way to clear the loop but I think for the additional failure point it would introduce for the chance you may flood your loop which is not easy to do it's not worth the trouble. When I first got my unit I put a lot of time into trying to come up with a satisfactory solution and couldn't find a way to do it safely. Youi also have to bear in mind that you would be reaching behind you to either press or pull a dump at the same time you are increasing loop pressure to vent I could see some bouyancy issues and some fairly serious task loading, all while the shit is hittng the fan. If you do come up with a viable solution Ken I will be mightily impressed so keep on working on that brain relaxer.Cheers, Chris

| Stuart, If you ask Gordon, he will tell you that the only reason he put the OPV on the unit is to prevent people from blowing the unit up IF they forgot to turn the O2 off and close the DSV. Diving-wise, you don't need the OPV at the top of the unit. So Ken could easily plug it off if he wants to put another one below. |

Just before ours were shipped we received a list of serial numbers from Kim. I know I'm number 67 but I'd forgotten to look for the number. I'll check later and let you know where they're hidden.Andy Wayne |
