you do with it ?
It's helpful if the people sending it out mark the TARIC code on. However I've always phoned UPS when it arrived in the country (I monitor the tracking like a hawk) and tell them it over the phone.

Re: KISS Import Code

hello,
is this code a European wide code? I would like to order a KISS as well and import it into Belgium?
Thanks for a short note,
Dive Duck

I've got a KISS Sport on it's way over from Jetsam

I've just phoned Customs and Excise to get some information on the TARIC Code required. I told them it was diving equipment / breathing apparatus, and they said I should use code 90200000080 which is for 'Breathing appliances and gas masks - other' !

Good news is - the tariff is only 1.7%. Has anyone managed to find an applicable code with lower duty

Question Re: KISS Import Code

I ordered parts from Jetsam but only stipulated the 'insured and tracked service' and didn't specify which UK carrier. I'm guessing the standard UK carrier is the Royal Mail? How did you ask for UPS specifically Janos? Did you put it in the comments section of the order?

I'm wondering if I can contact the UK delivery agent/carrier to specify the Taric Code kindely supplied at the start if this thread? Can I contact the Customs and Excise direct?

My order is stated on the Canada Post website as currently 'shipped to UK Customs & Excise'. Anyone any idea of how I could use the taric code at this stage, or should I just chalk it up to experience and use the code with the next order?

Cheers, in advance.
