| Dude Current Rebreather/s: | Sports KISS Quick disconnects Just got back from an extended business trip and found a parcel from Jetsam waiting for me (which has been waiting for two weeks) - it is the Sport Kiss quick disconnect upgrade (for those of us who bought ours early). I have just spent the last hour fitting it. It works a treat and is brilliantly engineered. Have you got yours yet Phi? ![]() |

I have just taken them all apart and put them back together again because they were not working quite right. Agree, they are by far the easiest and nicest QD design I have seen. For the QD to work correctly, there must be no rubber hose edge pushing up against the locking ring. if you foul the locking ring, it becomes a bit quicker disconnect than you might like . I added bicycle inner tube on mine over the jubilee clips. Now I have the bloodiest fingers in the neighbourhood. Ah well, only has to be done once. They look so good, the jetsam pigtail lead looks really naff. How much are inspo type chrome hose weights? |

Another option is getting the Draeger weight rings for the Dolphin depending on which is easier. Been using them for years as well since I used to be able to get Draeger parts really cheap...A friend in Singapore is simply using round SS rings found in hardware stores. |

Never seen these in a hardware store... what are they used for? I have seen them in sex shops, and I think I know what those are used for. ![]() I've emailed AP diving asking about buying some. All I need now is for my kydex BP to arrive from tobin then I am off for lots more lovely diving in south france. |

| Give us a bell on how this turns out. I'm keen to change the weighting on the hoses, they seem to really like sitting up very high, which I want to change. |

Ask Davy Koh on the KISS User List.![]() I've emailed AP diving asking about buying some. All I need now is for my kydex BP to arrive from tobin then I am off for lots more lovely diving in south france. The SS ring could be used in many places in marine applications besides the "entertainment industry" The Kydex BP is great. I believe that I bought all of the old surplus versions with 1" crotch strap slot from Tobin, and he is making the new ones with 2". But check to be sure, otherwise get the crotch strap from him at the same time since I don't know how easy it is for you to source the soft-er webbing to fit the 1" slot. I have made more PHI-box in aluminum for the upcoming Sharm trip. Together with the Kydex BP, the entire package is incredible light. And I only need 2 x 2-lb lead on the tanks when diving with 5mm wetsuit and 3L Inspiration tanks. So real easy to travel and get the lead/tanks locally... |
