Which bits of your KISS haven't you taken apart?

Further to Ben's question on t'other thread, thought this would be interesting - any bits that you've never disasembled either through need, preventative maintenance or just plain curiosity?

Oh thanks!

I've never completely stripped the DSV switch mechanism... taken the hoses, valves and paragon off but not gone further... guess I should, its abit "stiff"

Haven't stripped my (plastic) O2 add valve yet, but it needs doing now-ish.
Don't hesitate to strip and lube the DSV if it is stiff, especially with the video its a piece of cake.

I have the 3rd generation/plastic add valve... what makes you think yours needs servicing? Just out of interest....

Such as in displays and cables

The only thing I haven't fannied about with is the ADV. I've had the cover off but that's as far as it went. It's working so I'm not touching it.

Actually as much as I love taking stuff apart I am very much of the same school of thought (If it ain't broke, don't fix it)

Wodja mean? No spontaneous unplanned underwater disassembly from me old boy. Plenty of well thought out pre planned disassembly on surfacing with the fcuker full of water tho....

Thats SO not stuarts school of thought, ben. His is more along the lines of;

"if its broken, it might fix itself if I leave it long enough in proximity to my other kit. If only out of fear that it may end up as bad as the IBOD"

Either that or, "broken is only a state of mind, with enough snoopy loops anything can be made to work".

None, except for the interior of the displays/cables/cable glands to kidney...
