| Are there any instructors / shops that run Classic KISS try dives in the UK? I am very seriously considering buying a unit but the closest I have been to one was the display stand at last years dive show. I would like to try a unit at somewhere like Capernwray / Stoney to get a feel for what they are like underwater. Thanks, Craig. |

Noticed that your signature points to a BSAC branch website. Have you considered contacting your regional coaching team? BSAC own a few Classic Inspirations and Draeger Dolphins. They are used by regional teams for regional try-dives, and I think London region have them currently. I attended a try-dive recently, as I wanted to compare the KISS and Draeger to my Vision Inspiration. London region had a Classic KISS and a Sports KISS for use. One of the guys helping out in the water had a PRISM Topaz, but we weren't allowed to dive with it.Hope this helps mark

Hope this helps mark as mark suggests - contact you regional team to see when the next try dive is whether they have a classic kiss is down to who is helping on the try dive - london had two instructors who were happy to let their units be used the regional team might be able to put you in touch with someone who has a unit anyway vid |

| Re: Classic kiss Try Dives in UK BSAC HQ have some Inspirations and some Dragers which they lend out to the different Regional teams. 10 regions gives 1 month per region with a couple of months off for maintenance. April has been the turn of the London region, and I've been helping out on these. We've run six sessions (2 per day for three days) and each session consists of a theory session followed by 2x20 min try dives in a swimming pool on a couple of different units. April it was the turn of the London Region, and I helped out on one day, I'm a big fan of the CK, and so I brought my unit along for people to have a go on. Andy G also brought a CK and a SK along on another of the days for people to have a go on as well. The last day (which I'm also helping out on) is this Saturday, but I think it's too late to book on this. I would have a chat with your regional rebreather co-ordinator. Like all rebreather divers I've met, I'm sure they'd like nothing more than to get you hooked on diving CCR. If they have a CK diver on the team then you might get a chance to go on their unit. I think you're a bit too far North for me. Janos
