Does anybody know anything about this ? :- KISS CLASSIC REBREATHER on eBay, also, Other SCUBA, SCUBA Snorkelling, Sporting Goods (end time 22-Jun-08 22:05:48 BST)

friend of mine is thinking of going down the mccr route & has asked my thoughts on this one . I know SFA about Kiss as I dive a Vision so any comments appreciated . I thought Kiss had a triple display ? but this has 2 + a Vr3 (not included) any thoughts or am I wrong ?

Yep it does have a triple display as stock but each display has it's own cable and is in a separate box. It's easy to remove a display and swap the cable for a Fischer but retain the other two.

The only problem with this is it is the old separate boxes/single faceplate display which means when he added the VR£ then he had to chop down the faceplate. This might be tricky if someone wanted to put the 3rd display back because the faceplate is what held them as a single unit so a bit of bodging would be required to stick them all together. I'm pretty sure Jetsam have stopped making faceplates as Kim had to give me an old used plate a few years ago (mine came with the same VR£ mod which I had to undo). Also, it depends on how carefully the previous owner chopped down the old faceplate. If he has clipped the screw-holes on the chopped off bit (or caused cracking) then it's dead as disco. If on the other hand he has a spare triple faceplate then problem solved.

Looks in remarkably good condition considering it's serial number.
