Yes, did that 5-6 (?) years ago when I was still diving the KISS. Personally, I like the BMCL much better.

Someone asked about blocking the holes for BMCL coming from scrubber head ? I still have 2 Delrin plugs made to do that (still lying in the dive room). Just make them the same threads as the Jetsam CL parts with same o-ring location.
decoweenie,
I sent you a PM about this as well, but I would really like to get my hands on those plugs. Will you sell them to me? Pleeaasseee...

You know you could very easily modify a Kiss Sport for your little test and improve it's work of breathing .

Step #1 remove Sport kiss counterlungs
Step #2 Use the factory scrubber plugs to seal bottom of scrubber were old counter lungs should of been.

Step #3 use your loop with the over the shouldber counter lungs.

Step #4 Scure bottom of OTS counter lungs to waist strap

I bet the WOB might actual inprove in certain body positions.

How will you block the normal counter lung connections?
Duct tape! That'd be in keeping with the whole KISS principle...

NICE!!!
i did it about 4 years ago also. really liked it, and i found the WOB better, than the BMCL, but this is just personal statement no facts or tests to back it up. i did like having the meg ADV as it pushes gas fast!
there are some pics in the gallery under kiss i think.
mel
ps brock get the plugs from phi it is well worth it not to have to fuss with putting the BMCL on!

I thought about this a while back. It would, I think make inefficient use of the scrubber, as gas would maybe miss the corners. Then I got to thinking what if you had a simple U bend and put the SK pods on either end. That would end up pretty small.
