CK Canister paint

Has anyone painted their canister ?

My video housing is made of a similar grey plastic and has a tough yellow coating that would probably be tough enough for the canister.

Re: CK Canister paint

I am pretty sure the canister is schedule 80 pvc pipe. Why would you want to paint it?

A nice, shiny coat of yellow lacquer paint would probably look pretty good. Kinda like a "Classic Lunar!"

Peter just wants to blend in with those of us in the club diving the one true Rebreather. Yes, the one with the yellow box. He's outnumbered now

Cheers,

Mine is a bit marked and the KISS logo looking tatty. Also, now that I don't have a highly visible orange suit I was thinking about making myself more visible again.

The pipe looks like Darvic(tm) to me, although it probably has various names around the world.

Tango, what do you think of orange ?

I've released Orange for use by other members of the club, as I'm now decked out in my yellow and black 'man from AP Valves' attire

Be warned, if you do paint it orange, I'll be sticking a Tango sticker on it though!

Cheers,

Re: CK Canister paint

How about a good quality vinyl film from your local sign-writers.

Last time I was picking some graphics up from mine they also had some nice vinyls in that were reflective with light shone on them too

Could be a quick and easily replaceable idea

Just a thought.

How about adding a stealth KISS sticker from Dive Signs.
