Re: CK Canister paint

Might be easier to replace the tube with a different coloured piece, painting will chip and if its a bright colour look dreadfully scuffed very quickly IMO, see- http://www.rebreatherworld.com/photo...tellap0499.JPG
(Axels rather cool but extreme white paint job)

I was lazy and went for a sticker...

Re: CK Canister paint

I was considering just sending the grey tube to Birchley to get him to use whatever it is that's on the video housing. It does chip but not easily and mine has had 13+ years of abuse.

Or just ask him to make you a whole replacement tube? Dunno about yours but mine is quiet rough and would need alot of surface prep before it could take a coat of paint.

FWIW if you are worried about visibilty the two big yellow tanks either side of the scrubber are quiet visible...

Re: CK Canister paint

I'd be very interested in knowing how the line-X holds up on the canister. The rEvo boys out here put it on their covers, which is plastic, and it seems to be doing pretty well.
