I used ddPlan to cut some pretty course tables into Word which I laminated to stick in my pocket as bailout but if both my computers go down I won't have a clue about depth and time so I've never updated them from the air version I did originally. No conservatism designed in as I'd probably want fastest time to surface and by the time I'd rounded things up it wouldn't be bad.

HI,If I use a depth/time gauge and tables.. What tables do I use ![]() I know I could set my "GAP" software to a CCR setpoint and use that but I wondered what you guys are using? Cheers, Smudge ![]() You cut tables reflecting our dive, and various failures. On a CCR this means constant PPO for the dive and deco-portion when things goes according to plan, and some sort of bailout-plan from CCR to OC-gas. Or you use acomputer: Table vs. computer discussion is the same for OC as CCR. But assuming you use tables only; then yes, you set you GAP to run fixed setpoint (1.2/1.3 bar'ish). And setup the bail-out options. regards Nicolai

![]() ![]() | Re: What deco tables? For a computer-based dive program, I agree with GAP- I run it- but keep in mind it's RGBM (reduced gradient bubble model) a la Weinke- not Haldanean, athough it has conservativism factors. Run it in CCR mode, as stated in a prior post **********Always carry backup tables with you, though. I use IANTD's waterproof constant PPO2 tables, & also carry their CNS/OTU tables, among others. Good luck- I don't know who or which agency you're training with/thinking about, but you'll learn this stuff as you go safe diving! Peri

![]() | Re: What deco tables? I have used GAP lite but find this much simpler (particularly the generate O/C bailout tables by ticking one box) & it's free MVplan MV-Plan the Java Dive Planner Uses Gradient Factors... Mike |

I agree with Nigel; use ddPlan, very easy to use when you get the hang of them. Produce tables for varying depths and runtimes, with or without OC bailout with GF's to suit, print them off, laminate them and keep them in a pocket. No conservatism designed in as I'd probably want fastest time to surface and by the time I'd rounded things up it wouldn't be bad. Dive safe, Gary
