| What's a custom title? Current Rebreather/s: | Wrist mount for triple pendant? Has anyone come up with a wrist mount solution for the C2R triple pendant display? I like it a lot, but its a pain to clip and un-clip it every little while.

I personally think the CR2, pregnant VR3 looking thing is a pain in the ass, and intend to replace it with a Subsea Display as soon as I can spare the money! |

What I would like is a wrist plate that can be strapped on long before the dive, just after suiting-up. Then, once I am in the Rebreather, the display is clipped onto the wrist plate. This would be done with velcro and locating pins or maybe something like the Sticklebrick childrens toy. No more fiddling with straps and clips, one handed, while in the unit. I have a Shearwater GF and this could be done by separating the display from the steel backplate.

Look out for the new LEGO Rebreather, can be rebuilt as a RIB or Space station.Seriously- I think you'd want something like a mini g-snap tank bracket (preferably without the flopping around) something that can't drop off (as velcro and sticklebricks do when waved around too much) |

Any chance of a picture....I am really bad at visualizing this kind of thing.

Make drawing of bottom part of pendant on slate . 3. Dremel the hole in slate , so you can insert bottom part inside . You will get slate with pendant in it not secured . 4. Glue couple of layers of neoprene on top of the hole . Covering all slate ( looks black, tekky and cool ) . 5. Cut with scalpel same shape of bootom part of pendant in neoprene ( just leaving couple of extra millimeters on the sides , so it wll go same whole little bit tight . 6. Squise through carabiner loop on pendant some thin bungee as loop . 7 . So , first yu put slate on your hand , than you put palm through loop of bungee and then you pop in pendant in th hole . Quite simple and secure . Takes about 1 hour to make . ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by WooDoo : 11th January 2008 at 08:43. Reason: Insert picture |

Shearwater is now offering the Pursuit with just PO2 (1 or 3 cells) displays with depth, time and log for $900 USD and it can be upgaded at anytime to the full CCR Trimix Version. |

![]() | Re: Wrist mount for triple pendant? My Classic came with the C2R triple display which I hated at first, I then had the idea of wrist mounting it. The first one used a Beaver wrist mounted slate with a cut-out to take the back of the display and a couple of thin bungees to hold it on. After a while this broke and was replace with a small section of 4" drain pipe. Once on the wrist it is a lot less hassle, but when I started having issues with the battery cap, I decided to bin the lot and get a Pursuit, a much better option in my opinion. I'm not sure about the lack of redundancy the triple display results in (both C2R and Pursuit) and am looking forward to seeing how SteveJ's hud works out. I've found Bruce at Sheawater to be very good at promptly answering emails. Hope this helps. MM
