![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Kiss WoB and Counterlung Issues Hiya Steve, all the best, blah, blah, blah.... It sounds like you have the new style KISS Classic Kidney that just has the Fisher connector on it. Did you get your Pursuit with a cable and a connector to plug into your Kidney???Finally, I've just bought the Pursuit (but you knew that 'cause you've seen it, D'oh) and am thinking about a hud, but how does the cabling run? The kidney on our style of KC has only 1 Fishy connector, how will the hud wire get out. (Brent, if you read this, I'm sorry we didn't get chance to finish our chat last night - my long suffering gf was feeling neglected) Anyway, hope some of this was helpful, I'll ring Chasler and ask him to contribute when he gets off his hill ![]() Cheers MM The way you can wire in your new Shearwater HUD is thru the spare plug port on the left side of your head with a watertight cable fitting. Inside the head there are holes that go into each sensor chamber, thru those holes you can run the wires to each O2 cell. You then use a piggy back connector to connect to the existing wires. I installed my Rebreather Gaurdian HUD by URI that way and Sutty posted pictures with an article on this site, http://www.rebreatherworld.com/rebre...html#post24957 Last edited by silentscuba : 2nd January 2008 at 04:16. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Kiss WoB and Counterlung Issues The Shearwater HUD is offered in a version ready to be installed in the alternate O2 port in the head; it can be seen in the KISS connection gallery on the Shearwater web site. I have one installed this way. It sounds like you have the new style KISS Classic Kidney that just has the Fisher connector on it. ![]() | Re: Kiss WoB and Counterlung Issues Thanks guys, I'm sorry this has taken so long, I've been out and about. Looks like plain sailing to get Bruce's hud up and running on my Classic. Hope your's is sorted now Steve. MM

Hopefully will get a trial splash at Capernwray soon after. Incidentally, even for a mechanical numpty, I found adjusting the flow rate and IP on the Kiss a doddle with a flow meter and pressure guage. I jacked up my O2 flow from 0.65 to 0.75 litres/min. Have also tie wrapped the lungs to the bottom of C/L case. Steve |

![]() | Re: Kiss WoB and Counterlung Issues Nice one. I had a dip in Capers last Saturday, it's 12quid now;( but worth it just for the white Sturgeon in there, a spectacular fish (not bad coming from someone who sees aquatic life as an unwelcome distraction from wrecks). Oh and 6C... Cheers MM
