Would this let me mount a tank under the SK box and if so, what size? I would like to find a way to mount my 28cf bailout tank on my back instead of sling mounted.

Here is a stand on a classic kiss. As you can see you could fit a 1.5l or 2l in there nicely.

On my Kiss Classic I mount a 1.5 Litre Ally cylinder under the Scrubber (as on Jamie B photo but with my homemade stand) which is used for the unit O2 and I then run 2off 5 Litre cylinders, one for unit Dil/bail out and the other 5 Litre cylinder I use whatever gas I want to put in it (usually 32%-40%). So for simple club dives (they have got to be simple dives at my club ) no side slung stage is needed.

I have used my little sport with the same setup but the 5l cylinders make the unit a bit wide.

Warning! this setup my not suit your type of Diving or mindset, so use at your own risk.

I was fortunate enough to get the last stand from the previous batch of SK stands. I fitted it from new to my SK and it made donning the unit very easy and the ali case was scratch free after 5 days at stoney: No mean feat when you are kitting up in a tarmac carpark. I was pleasantly surprised how many experienced rebreather divers commented on how functional the stand made the SK out of the water and more than one inspo diver expressed envy at how easy it was for me to kit up sitting on my backside in the carpark. I have tried diving with and without the stand and the balance of the unit is better with the stand on [I am about 6ft tall].
My instructor particularly liked the handle when he elected to give me an underwater tow after a spectacular bit of stupidity on my part.
All in all the stand is a great bit of design and works.
