Is it possible to make these about 8" taller (IE nakred base) so I can snuggle another 2l on the bottom for suit/wing inflation and to make it more managable for taller folks?

Cheers

Hi Joel,

I'd suggest making some feet for the case - or simply put... no sorry mate.

Cheers

Circa 2001-2002, Portland Oceaneering did the first SS case as well as the feet and handle.

Here is a pic of the feet if anyone wants to make something similar.
Enrique (tech dive tools) also had one around the same time.. I remember seeing it when I was having my titanium INSPO frame made..

I don't remember who he made it for..

Question Re: Classic KISS Stainless Steel Counter Lung Cases

Rich,

Are you making this yourself? Had you thought about contacting Alex Marshial (Woz) on here? He owns an Engineering company in Nottingham/Derby and might have the tools to produce these? I can supply him with my SS Portland case as a starter and then you could adapt it to suit you all? Pm me if you want his contact details. He could also do the feet I guess. Why don't you talk to him?

Re: Classic KISS Stainless Steel Counter Lung Cases

I dive a sport, but if I dove a classic, I would want slots cut, to attach my harness, instead of using a seperate backplate. Thoughts?

Nah, backplate adds weight which you generally need. Using a backplate also allows for more adjustability (moving up and down using the multiple bolt holes) than fixed slots.
