I have booked (dive) holiday West Keys, cant find dive shop that is CCR friendly. Anybody out there sussed this one out. Thanks - Mart

Hello,

I would give Conch Republic on Tavenier a call. They are just south of Key Largo in the chain. I dove my Meg with them a week or so ago. They have low pressure O2 and are more than happy to have rebreathers on the boat. If you go on their 2-tank boat dive of the Speigal Grove they'll let you get in first an get out after the interval and second dive for the OC folks are done... one long dive on a great wreck.

If you are flying into Miami you can jump up to Fill Express to pick up other scrubber supplies, Trimix, and HP O2 before you head south to the Keys. They are prehaps 20 minutes north of the airport. I expect there are many other shops in the Miami area to pick up scubber supplies and such as well.

Dick Rutkowski and Larry Heiskell of Hyperbarrics Intl. They are on Key Largo and should be able to set you straight. Larry certified me. If they can't help, they can point you in the right direction.

I'm thinking of heading down to dive my ccr on Friday Feb 9, 10, and 11. Anyone else diving these dates.
