| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Hello from Italy Hello to every nobubblers! My name is Alberto, I am a commercial diver from the north Italy (Vicenza, well known for Valstagna cave). Some years ago I started rebreatherdiving on my SCR Azimuth A.F. now converted to MCCR. I'll post something about it becouse it looks very nice. I dived other rebreathers like Dolphin, russian rebreathers and home made ones. Thanks a lot for this forum, and all those informations inside. Bubbles on the left are the only ones I like to do when diving ... Alberto Last edited by ilpomo : 23rd January 2007 at 19:27. |

![]() | Re: Hello from Italy Hi Alberto Welcome on Rebreather World. I am planing to go to Valstagna in two weeks time for cave diving. Do you know if the conditions in the caves are good? I wonder because of the quite warm weather in the last weeks. Cheers André |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Hello from Italy Hi André winter is good season for diving in this cave. At the moment visibility is great and the whether allows the exploration but remember: if it rains there are only six hours before the condition of the cave are dangerous ( VERY VERY HIGH bottom current and zero visibility). If you will stay for more days you should plane a dive also in Oliero Cave (“cogol dei siori” or “cogol dei veci”: max deph near -60 / -90 and long enough for rebreather divers…) but you have to ask for a little permission because these caves have not free access, if you need I can help you in this formality. Cheers Alberto |

![]() | Re: Hello from Italy last week end the visibility in Valstagna was very good only from 0 to 35meters, after 5mt only of viz. From Monday in NorthEst of Italy it's raining and somewhere snowing. Casati and its team are backing to home, the cave of Elefante Bianco has 6mt overflowed ![]() maybe in February if the weather will improve |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Hello from Italy A little late in my reply and timing -- I wish I would have known about Rebreather World before I left Italy. I lived in Vicenza and ended up doing alot of solo diving as it was tough to find Rebreather cavers. How far out do you guys plan trips? Any focus on heading up to Elefante this year or anytime soon? |
