![]() | Hi Y'all My wife and I got certified on the Dolphin a couple of years ago. To be honest we haven't dove it very much because I couldn't find gas where I was diving (Yap, Palau, St. Thomas, etc.) but we really liked it. I shoot UW video and just got a housing for my Canon Digital Rebel, so even more so, the Rebreather will really come in handy. I'm looking forward to meeting others that are diving rigs around and learning how and where to get supplies around the world. I'm also looking for someplace to get CCR trained, not sure what rig yet. Corby |

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Hi Corby, welcome to Rebreather World. Sorry to hear about your logistics problems. Don't know about Yap and Palau, but the USVI should be able to accomodate nitrox these days. If you have a look at the 'Destinations', we're trying to assemmble a data base of rebreather friendly locations, shops and boats. And in the 'Trips' forum you'll find dive trips planned around rebreather diving. Which housing did you get for your Canon? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Howdy!!!! Corby, Well, a great big "Howdy to y'all" and welcome to the best resource and community for re-breather folks that there is! We've got all types and stripes of re-breathers here, so check around and read up. I'm over in Houston, and I dive the Inspiration. Drop me a PM if you like, and we can chat about Rebreather's and where to dive them, etc. Sounds as if you get around some! Again, welcome aboard!! Rob

![]() | Thanks all, Stefan, I got the Ikelite eTTL housing with Ike DS125s. I can't wait to get it water other than my pool. I'm assuming that many of the folks on this forum are photographers, so one question I have is how do you travel with all of the gear. For our trip in August, we have 2 dive bags, one big suitcase, housing for the video, housing for the still and then our carry-ons. I need a sherpa! Adding rebreathers on takes us over the luggage limit even for international first class (got to love frequent flyer points). Does everybody ship their gear or what? |
