Hi there. I just signed up here and have a few questions that I have not been able to dig out of the search feature yet.

Been diving since 2000 and diving a Dolphin since 2001 but thinking ahead to getting a CCR someday.

Does anyone know or know of a thread where its been disscussed....

Is it possible to send an Inspriration in to have it ugraded with the vision electronics and how much that costs?

What is the fair market value of a classic Inspiration?

So far I have found this site very informative.

Re: New to forum

Hi there,

Welcome and a merry X-mas.
Asking for a fair value is asking how long a piece of string is.
It depends on age, hours, options, spare parts, maintenance and ofcourse if somebody needs to sell, or might be convinced of parting with it, but rather not..
As goes for everything you might wanna buy of someone.
Look through te for sale archives and go through the inspo ads and you get a rough idea. Cheapest I've seen were just under 3000 euro, 2000 GPB or about 4500 Aussie kangaroo dollars. But then you get an let's say more experienced unit.

Why would you wanna "upgrade" (you seem to consider it an improvement) to vision?

Again welcome and enjoy,

Denz.
