Hi all

Hi all,
I have been diving for 15 months on oc & have done about 110 dives, was thinking of moving onto twins but the prospect of climbing in & out of boats with twin 12,s & stages at my age{a young 52!]with an arthritic ankle was putting me off,
My buddy has just invested his hard earned in a megalodon & loves it so that looks like the route I,ll take, got a try dive hopefully early Jan.
This is the best site for Rebreather,s I have seen, hopefully y,all will bear with me as I am bound to ask some bloody stupid questions as this is all new to me!
Not looking to do extreme depths maybe upto 60m-70m so long as there is something interesting to see, & the extended bottom times are what also appeal to me.

Cheers,
Lee C

Erm! it,s a bit of fun Dutchy, you know fun,bit of a lark, piss take whatever you want to call it,not serious!!
Did,nt think I,d really need a Harvard degree or any other for that matter to be accepted on this site, just want to gain some knowledge & share experiences with[hopefully] like minded people.

Re: Hi all

You've come to the right place. It's just that I couldn't read it at first although i can read Latin. and then looked it up. Took a while as I tried it word by word. I you google it its easy. You'll find (just one of many explanations) that the Harvard foorball boys used it. You living in the UK made me wonder. That's all. And no you don't need a degree. Being crazy should do the job as:
1) It will cost you a small fortune
2) A helluva lot more work is involved in preparation and maintenance
3) It's beleived to be more dangerous
4) Your OC buddies will refuse to dive with you as you only have interest for your equipment.
And the list goes on.
