Glad you made the switch, diving on a wreck is easy to tell when your the right way up, you won't have a issue.I have a vision (NO not caused by to much scotch however that did influence the purchase !!) & i'm doing the course in January. Thanks for reading such drival & hope to here some news on the 'up' situation soon Me and some of my buddies have JMDs, they mount theres on the side, cylinder mounted on one side for suit and torch on the other. You can either use the tank band that is there already for the internal O2 or Dil or drill the clamp and bolt it to the box. I used to use the band on the right side as I had my suit inflate on the left. Now I have a 1.5ltr suit inflate on the left, a 1.5ltr O2 on the right and my JMD is flat against the bottom of the box on the black part, under the wing, against my butt (if your having trouble visualizing let me know). It's bolted there by drilling the clamp and is easily removed for charging using the pin in the conventional way. This position is very convenient, totally out of the way and is good for trim. Even stopped a few topples!!! Last edited by Ivon : 7th December 2006 at 14:04. |
