Hi all,

Been reading all the great stuff on here for a couple of months as part of my research on which 'breather to get, and thought I'd better do the 'honourable' thing and go public. (Hope the innuendo police aren't watching!)

Been diving since 2001, then thought it'd be a good idea to teach people so became an instructor with PADI & started running a dive centre nearby.
Started doing some trimix diving but soon didn't have much time for my stuff with all that goes with running a dive centre & got pretty much burnt out as a result!

Now that I'm ready to get back in the water for some 'me' diving I've decided that CCR is the way to go as got fed up carting cyls around all the time & way cheaper on gas!

Decided that the Meg seems to be the one for me so just need to iron out the last few details before taking the plunge & giving Leon a big bundle of $$$

So no doubt I'll be asking questions pretty soon...

Welcome to Ford's "Black Sheep Squadron" of re-breather pilots! Glad you decided to stop lurking and sign on! I wouldn't worry about the "Innuendo Police". We left them at the dock when we sailed!!

It has been the intent of this Board since the beginning to create an on-line community where re-breather creatures of all types and stripes can feel welcome, find answers, and share knowledge. The membership is growing. We have lots of folks who have tremedous knowledge and experience to share, and are willing to do so!

Welcome aboard!

P.S.---It's funny, isn't it? We get into this business, in some of our cases, to be more involved in what we love. Then we find out that, if we are not very, very careful, the business aspect leaves no time for the part we really love!
